Professional stagers know the best place for mirrors, candles, decorative collectibles, linens and of course furniture. They understand what makes a home appealing to those shopping for a new residence. There are even TV shows on home and garden channels that showcase homes before and after staging by professionals.

Before signing up for a staging course, make sure you are choosing the right career. If there is no demand for home stagers in your locality you may want to focus on real estate sales instead. However in some places like California and Florida, for example, staging professionals are in high demand. If you are in an area where these services are needed a course home staging can be your gateway to a new profession. You can start a business on your own, with a partner or work for a home staging firm. In the future, the demand for house stagers may grow and expand to other areas of the country as people recognize the value of this service.
